Hinoki is a type of cypress wood that is found only in Japan. It is very lightweight, exceptionally resilient, and consequently incredibly durable. It is also highly water-resistant, making it easy to clean. Hinoki has another significant advantage that sets it apart from other boards – the wood possesses natural antibacterial properties.

The Hinoki cutting board is available in two sizes: 35 cm x 20 cm x 3 cm and 40 cm x 25 cm x 3 cm. It is made from a single piece of wood taken from the outer part of the tree trunk. As a result, the board does not need to be glued like other wooden cutting boards.
