The Japanese bread knife from the Miyabi 6000MCT series allows for easy and safe slicing of bread, rolls, and cakes. It features a hard serrated edge, enabling effortless cutting through bread crusts and soft baked goods. The knife has a blade length of 23 cm and an ergonomic handle.
The core of the bread knife is made of very hard powder steel, which is enclosed by two additional layers of spring steel. This laminated core results in a blade that is both hard and resistant to chipping. A special processing technique (Tsuchime) gives the blade a distinctive pattern. The blade is also treated using complex hardening and cryogenic processes (CRYODUR®). This process ensures high edge retention, proper flexibility, and impact resistance of the blade.
The stable handle is made from exotic Cocobolo wood from Central America, providing an ergonomic fit for the hand. The manufacturer has properly balanced the knife, ensuring long cuts with minimal effort.
