The MIYABI Nakiri knife from the 5000FCD series transforms even simple kitchen tasks, such as peeling and chopping fruits and vegetables, into a visual experience. The 17 cm blade, with a core made of hard FC61 steel, is covered with 48 layers of stainless steel, giving it a unique pattern. As part of the manufacturing process, the FRIODUR® blade has also been refined through a special hardening process that includes double freezing. This makes it exceptionally resistant to corrosion and durable.
At the same time, the blade is exceptionally thin, making it ideal for cutting fine slices of cucumber or tomatoes, for example. This Japanese vegetable knife combines incredible sharpness with aesthetic design and Far Eastern elegance. It is a knife that will particularly delight collectors, as the layered pattern of the blade is unique—no two knives are the same.
