The MIYABI 4000FC knife series embodies the traditional Japanese art of knife-making, with each of its representatives featuring extraordinary beauty and sharpness. This is also true for the NAKIRI knife with a blade length of 17 cm, the double-beveled blade of which is especially suitable for quickly preparing vegetables and fruits.
The FRIODUR blade is made from double-hardened 'fire and ice' FC61 steel, distinguished by high hardness and durability even during intensive use. Additionally, the Katana-Edge grind with a distinct hamon is a symbol of master craftsmanship, used in traditional Japanese sword blades and characterized by the highest sharpness and cutting properties.
However, Japanese knives are not only about the blade but also about the special handles. The MIYABI 4000FC line has a very elegant appearance thanks to the treated Pakka wood handles, adorned with mosaic pins. They fit perfectly in the hand due to their octagonal shape, ensuring effortless and safe work.
All MIYABI knives are produced by ZWILLING in their own factory located in Seki, Japan. This is where German engineering from the famous Solingen meets incredible Japanese craftsmanship.
