1. General information

This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver orders placed in the Chef Lab Store (the “Store”), operated by PROF-STORE Sp. z o.o. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”).

By placing an order in our Store, you agree to the terms described in this Shipping Policy. For information about returns and refunds, please refer to our separate Return / Refund Policy.

All orders are shipped from Warsaw, Poland (European Union).

We ship within Poland, to most EU countries, and to selected non-EU destinations (where available at checkout).

Available shipping options and the exact costs for your order are displayed at checkout.

We cooperate with reputable courier companies, including DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, InPost, Poczta Polska, and (for selected international shipments) international courier networks. Depending on destination, size and weight of the parcel, as well as current logistics conditions, we may choose the most suitable carrier to fulfil the selected delivery method.


2. Shipping destinations

2.1 Domestic – Poland

We deliver to all regions of Poland.

For domestic shipments we typically use InPost (courier and parcel lockers, where available), DPD, DHL, GLS, Poczta Polska, and UPS (for selected shipments).

Available options for your address are shown at checkout.


2.2 European Union (EU)

We ship to most EU member states from Poland.

Within the EU:

  • shipments are treated as intra-EU deliveries,

  • for standard consumer goods there are generally no customs duties charged to the recipient,

  • VAT is charged according to applicable EU and Polish regulations.

For EU destinations we primarily use DPD, DHL, GLS, UPS, and in some cases postal partners.


2.3 Non-EU countries (where available, including the USA)

We ship to selected non-EU countries shown at checkout (which may include the United States and certain non-EU European destinations where available).

For non-EU and overseas shipments we may use international courier networks (and/or DHL/UPS/postal partners, depending on the service and feasibility).

If your country is not listed at checkout, shipping may not be available at the moment.


3. Order processing time

Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Poland.

During peak periods (e.g. seasonal sales, holidays, special promotions), order processing time may be slightly longer.

If there is a significant delay in processing your order, we will inform you by e-mail sent to the address you provided at checkout.


4. Estimated delivery times

Delivery times depend on the destination country, shipping method and the carrier. The time frames below are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g. carrier delays, weather conditions, local holidays, and customs procedures for non-EU shipments).

Typical delivery windows after dispatch:

  • Poland: approx. 1–3 business days

  • European Union: approx. 3–7 business days

  • Non-EU destinations (if available): approx. 7–21 business days (may be longer due to customs)


5. Shipping methods and rates

5.1 Poland (domestic)

5.2 European Union (EU)

  • International courier (EU Zone 1): 49 PLN

  • International courier (EU Zone 2): 79 PLN
    Free shipping in the EU: from 700–900 PLN (depending on the destination/zone; the exact threshold is shown at checkout)

Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on destination, total weight/dimensions, the available method and any active promotions.

From time to time we may offer free or discounted shipping above a certain order value or to specific regions. Any such promotion will be clearly indicated at checkout (and/or on our website).


6. Customs, duties and taxes (international orders)

6.1 Shipments within the EU

For deliveries from Poland to other EU member states:

  • shipments are treated as intra-EU deliveries,

  • for standard goods, there are generally no additional customs duties charged to the recipient,

  • VAT is charged according to applicable EU and Polish regulations.

6.2 Shipments outside the EU

For orders shipped from Poland to non-EU countries (where available):

  • your shipment may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, handling/brokerage fees and/or other local taxes in the destination country,

  • these charges are not included in our product prices or standard shipping fees (unless explicitly stated otherwise),

  • as a rule, the customer (recipient) is responsible for paying such charges before or upon delivery.

If you refuse to pay such charges, or refuse the shipment, the parcel may be returned to us or disposed of by the carrier/customs. In such cases, we may refund the order amount minus:

  • original shipping costs, and

  • any return shipping costs and/or additional charges billed to us by the carrier or customs.

We recommend checking the customs and import regulations of your country before placing an order.


7. Tracking and delivery

Once your order is dispatched, you will usually receive a shipping confirmation e-mail with the carrier’s name and a tracking number (if tracking is available).

Tracking data may need up to 24–48 hours to update from the moment the parcel is collected by the courier.

It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address, contact phone number and e-mail address at checkout.

If the tracking status indicates “delivered”, but you have not received your parcel, please:

  • check with members of your household/neighbours,

  • check reception/parcel room (if applicable),

  • check your mailbox or parcel locker (if chosen),

  • contact the carrier using the tracking number.

If the issue is not resolved, contact us so we can support you.


8. Undeliverable packages and incorrect addresses

A parcel may be returned to us as undeliverable due to:

  • incorrect/incomplete address,

  • repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts,

  • refusal to accept the shipment,

  • refusal to pay customs duties/taxes/fees (for non-EU shipments).

Once the parcel is returned and processed, we may:

  • offer reshipment (additional shipping costs apply), or

  • issue a refund excluding:

    • original shipping costs,

    • any return shipping costs and additional charges billed to us by the carrier or customs authorities.

We are not responsible for parcels lost, delayed or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.


9. Damaged parcels and missing items

We carefully pack all products, but damage can occasionally occur during transport.

If your shipment arrives visibly damaged or with missing items:

  • take clear photos of the external packaging (with labels), internal packaging, and damaged items,

  • keep all packaging materials until the issue is fully resolved,

  • contact us at profstore.pl@gmail.com as soon as possible (preferably within 3–5 business days), including your order number, description, and photos.

We will review your case and may arrange a replacement, issue a partial/full refund, and/or initiate a claim with the carrier.


10. Shipping restrictions

Due to carrier, customs and legal regulations, we may not be able to ship certain products or deliver to certain countries/regions (e.g. prohibited items, oversized/heavy shipments).

If we are unable to process or ship your order (or part of it), we will contact you to propose alternatives or refund the affected part.


11. Changes to this Shipping Policy

We reserve the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time (e.g. changes in courier services/rates, logistics processes, or legal/regulatory changes).

The latest version is always available on our website and applies to orders placed after publication.
